A concrete pool can be constructed in any shape, depth or size, with design features such as steps, ledges and benches where you want them and with a far more versatile range of finishes and colour options. Concrete pools can be built in-ground or above ground level without the need for retaining walls and are structurally superior. Be aware that some alternative pool options are susceptible to staining from groundwater seepage at joints and inlets and can be problematic on reactive soils. If weighing up affordability, we have found that in the current market, concrete pool prices are comparable to fibreglass options.
