The Summerhill Pools build process

Following is a brief outline of the concrete swimming pool build process with Summerhill Pools:

  • Request a quote

Once your enquiry is received, we will organise a free onsite consultation at a time that is suitable to you. During this consultation we will conduct a property and needs assessment, view the property landscape and access and discuss style preferences and budget. Following the visit we will prepare an itemised pricing schedule / quote, and site plan based on the inclusions discussed at the initial consultation for your consideration.

  • Contract signing and approvals

Upon receiving the quote if you decide to proceed, you will receive a contract pack to sign. On receipt of the signed contract we will organise QBCC insurance, engage an engineer, a certifier for the building application (BA) approval, and schedule the build process.

  • Pool construction

We will organise and oversee/undertake all construction, including excavation, temporary fencing, formwork and steel fixing, plumbing, concrete pour, curing process, tiling and paving, electrical and equipment, permanent fencing, compliance check and interior lining.

  • Finishing and handover

The exciting part! We will conduct a final clean and fill and balance your pool so you can start swimming. Our pools are full turnkey, so you’ll receive a handover package and tutorial on how to operate all of the equipment, so you get the most out of your new pool. After handover we are available over the phone and can also pop in anytime to help with questions if they arise.
